How our process works

Frequently asked questions

What countertop materials do you offer?
We work in granite, quartz, quartzite, marble and porcelain, covering natural stone and engineered surfaces for kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor spaces and commercial jobs. Each material has its own balance of look, maintenance and cost, and we are glad to walk through the differences based on how you actually use the space. You pick the actual slab in person for natural stone, since no two are exactly alike. Engineered materials like quartz offer a more consistent pattern from sample to slab.
Does the same crew handle template, fabrication and install?
Yes, one crew carries a job from digital template through in-house fabrication to the final install, with no hand-off between a seller and a separate installer. That continuity means the person who measured your kitchen is accountable for how the finished top fits it. It also keeps scheduling simpler, since there is one team to coordinate rather than several companies passing the job along. We think that structure produces a better result for the customer.
Do you work with builders, designers and property managers?
Yes, we work regularly with builders, remodelers, designers, property managers and commercial operators, not just individual homeowners. For repeat work like apartment turns or new construction, we can set up repeatable material picks and a template schedule that fits around your other trades. One estimate covers install as its own line, which keeps budgeting straightforward across multiple jobs. When you call about a job, a person answers the phone.
What edge and sink options can I choose from?
We offer ten edge profiles, from a simple eased edge to a mitered or chiseled look, along with standard and upgraded options depending on the material. Sinks include undermount, drop-in, farmhouse, vessel and integrated styles, each cut and fitted to your slab at install. We can talk through which edge and sink combination suits your material and how the kitchen gets used. Nothing here requires guessing since we show you real options before fabrication starts.
How do you protect floors and cabinets during work?
Our crew covers floors and protects cabinet boxes before any tear-out or install work begins, since old adhesive and stone dust can otherwise affect nearby surfaces. Countertops are removed and set in controlled sections rather than forced off, which limits stress on the cabinets underneath. We clean up the work area before leaving on every visit, tear-out, template or install. Protecting your home is treated as part of the job, not an extra step.
What makes one slab different from another?
Natural stone slabs vary in veining, color and pattern even within the same named stone, since each one comes from a different block cut from the earth. That is why we have you pick the actual slab for your job rather than choosing from a sample chip alone. Engineered materials like quartz keep a more consistent pattern across slabs, which appeals to people who want predictability. Either way, what you see before fabrication is what ends up on your counter.
